Solarize Williamstown Township

Solar panel installation on roof

Williamstown Township is actively supporting a community solar purchasing program which will allow township residents to install solar energy at reduced costs. Two meetings have occurred with many residents signing up to participate in cooperative buying programs. Join us for additional informational meeting opportunities and hear from residents who benefit from solar installation. Additional meetings will be scheduled with different solar contractors. NEXT MEETING DATE: To be scheduled (Please note: The Township does not endorse any particular solar contractor but only facilitates public meetings to promote the solar purchasing programs.)

The Township will be hosting an in-person meeting to:

  • discuss the benefits of installing solar panels
  • discuss how you can receive a discount through cooperative buying
  • discuss the EV (Electronic Vehicle) component
  • ask questions about the process
  • speak with residents who have already benefited from the program

Call 517-655-3193 to sign up or learn more about future meetings.
